Barbara Ann Ferrill (Wilson)

January 19th, 1938 - May 9th, 2018

Barbara Ann Ferrill (Wilson), Age 80, passed away on May 9th, 2018 at the wonderful and caring facility of Midland Hospice House of Topeka.

She was born on January 19th, 1938 in Anna, IL to Everett and Helen Wilson and had 2 siblings - Trelby Wilson (Deceased) and Connie Kessler (Wilson) of Tallahassee, FL.
She graduated from Cobden High School (Home of the Appleknockers!) in 1956 and attended SIU in Carbondale.

She married William Ferrill of Cobden,IL in 1960 and had 2 children.  They moved to Topeka KS in 1975

Barbara enjoyed playing bridge and Pinochle, her Bible Study Class, her KSU Mom's Group of friends   (even though she was a Kansas Jayhawk!)  Crablegs at the casino, a good Margarita and her grandkids!

She retired from Columbia National Title Co after 30+ years where she worked as a Title Clerk. She attended Highland Park United Methodist Church and volunteered as a long term care Omsbudsman.

She was a wonderful Wife, Mom, Sister, Aunt and Grandma and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her husband of 58 yrs - Bill Ferrill,  Son & Spouse - Brian & Char Ferrill,  Daughter & Spouse - Carrie & Randy Boudeman,  5 Grandchildren Taylor & Rylie Ferrill, Summer Mizell, and Mitchell & Trevor Boudeman,   Sister - Connie Kessler,   Sister-In-Law & Spouse - Jackie & Bill Blackman..... as well as extended family of nieces and nephews, lifelong friends and THE BEST Neighbors.

She fought one heck of a battle and was still funny till the end!  

Memorial donations can be made to Midland Hospice House of Topeka  ( 120 SW Frazier Circle Topeka, KS 66606 )  who took such great care of our entire family.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE GATHERING
Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering on Sunday May 27th   6 to 9pm  at Lake Shawnee Shelter House #4.
(TinMan Circle on the East side of lake)

Food & Drinks Provided. We have picnic tables but bring lawn chairs if possible.
